On March 21, Patrícia Lino will give a class about the poetry of Ana Hatherly. She will contextualize the work of the Portuguese poet within the Concrete Poetry movement around the world. Patrícia will establish relationships between Portuguese Visual poets with famous Brazilian ones.
Patrícia Lino is a Camões lecturer at UC Santa Barbara and holds a PhD in Luso-Brazilian Languages and Literatures. Her PhD dissertation title was: “Concentric Strike. Inter-semiotic and Interdisciplinary Relations in Brazilian Poetry of the 20th Century”.
This lecture will be in English and it is open to the public.
