The Art of Being Woman

Bárbara Bulhosa is the publisher of one of the most successful editorial projects in Portugal: Tinta-da-China. This publishing house had published several outstanding books of national and international literature, amongst them “O Retorno” (“The Return”) by Dulce Maria Cardoso. Published in 2011, O Retorno is a reflection on Portuguese colonialism and post colonialism; a pictorial narrative that put Dulce Maria Cardoso in the hall of fame of Lusophone Literature. Ricardo Araújo Pereira is a famous comedian, tv character, and a writer. His ironic style and parody are well known communicational strategies that he used to write chronicles such as “Frankenstrump, a less known story by Mary Shelley”, or “The Beagle Boys, Dalton, and Lehman”. Politics, colonialism, and gender are some of the subjects that Deolinda Adão will discuss with them on November 30th.
