Every year the UCB Center for Teaching and Learning documents best pedagogical practices throughout campus. This spring the Spanish and Portuguese Department was present in the Showcase for Teaching Innovation and Reinvention (STIR).
Lecturer Amelia Barili, presented the results of her research on Effective Syllabus Design. She created a template that can be used across disciplines to ensure that the knowledge and skills that are to be achieved with that course are at forefront of the faculty’s attention when designing the structure and content of the course.
