Munera, Alejandro

Alejandro Múnera joined the Ph.D Program in Hispanic Literatures and Languages at UC Berkeley in 2017. He graduated in 2016 from his B.A in Literary Studies at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, with an emphasis on Research and Literary Criticism. His undergraduate thesis centered on bioethical debates about HIV/AIDS representations in colombian literature and culture. His areas of interest include: Modern and Contemporary Latin American Literature, Critical theory, Gender and Queer theory and Psychoanalysis.
